Areas I can assist you with are:
I was born in Suffolk but have lived in Leicester for most of my life. I graduated from Cambridge University in 1989 with a degree in natural sciences, specialising in physics. I immediately joined Serjeants and qualified as both a UK and a European patent attorney in 1993. I have been a partner in the firm since 1995.
I’ve worked on a wide variety of patent cases, generally of a mechanical or electronic nature, with a recent emphasis on medical devices. I can also give advice in the areas of trade marks, copyright and designs. Within the firm, I have responsibility for the accounts and for our IT and record management systems.
To relax, I play badminton and enjoy puzzles of all kinds. I am interested in local history and also in watching and recording wildlife. There is always something waiting to be done in the garden but I make sure I find time to get out walking too – Leicestershire has lots of attractive countryside with good pubs to stop at along the way!
