Areas I can assist you with are:
Although I was born in Suffolk, I have lived in Leicester for most of my life. I graduated from Cambridge University in 1989 with a degree in natural sciences, specialising in physics. I immediately joined Serjeants and qualified as both a UK and a European patent attorney in 1993. I was made partner at Serjeants in 1995.
I’ve worked on a wide variety of patent cases, generally of a mechanical or electronic nature, but still like to get my teeth into some real physics from time to time. Apart from dealing with trade marks, copyright and designs, I have written most of the computer programs that enable Serjeants to function efficiently. I travel regularly to visit clients in the United States and India.
To relax, I play badminton regularly and enjoy puzzles of all kinds. Although there is always something to be done in the garden, I make sure I find time to go walking – Leicestershire has lots of attractive countryside with good pubs for a lunch stop!
