Areas I can assist you with are:
Born and brought up in Nottingham, I graduated from Durham University with a BSc in Applied Physics. I worked as a Technical Officer for a large Government research organisation before joining Serjeants in 1998. I became a partner at Serjeants in April 2004 and am also a member of the Patents Committee of the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys.
While Serjeants deals with a wide range of innovative technologies, I mainly work with local clients who are looking to protect general mechanical inventions. I am also a qualified trade mark attorney and can provide focused, commercially-relevant advice on all areas of intellectual property (IP).
I am responsible for developing our strong links with attorneys in China and can provide robust advice on how best to protect and exploit your IP rights in a country that is an important commercial market for our clients and where enforcement of IP is rapidly improving – both for locals and for foreign companies.
I’m lucky enough to have travelled widely within the United States and am particularly interested in its history and hiking its National Parks. I enjoy watching most sports, especially rugby union and ice hockey.
